Stunning Mid 19th Century Gold pendant with Silver accents and decorated with natural seed pearls. The blue enamel frames a beautifully executed handpainted miniature depicting a cherub.
Superb quality. Excellent condition. Bale is a modern addition as this piece was originally an earring! French assay marks were just visible on the original hook however it was twisted beyond repair and the sister earring was unfortunately missing.
A remarkable and wearable piece of history.
